Foreclosure Specialists is a small family owned and operated business. Janelle St. Pierre first began working in the foreclosure field in 1981, working as a title officer at Redding Title Company in Northern California. Janelle worked there until the 90’s when she then began working at Fidelity National Title Company.

In the later 90’s she owned and operated Independent Trust Deed Services. After expanding her family she took off a couple of years to be with them until prior customers started contacting her needing non-judicial foreclosure services!

In 2002, she opened Foreclosure Specialists with her mother, Dottie Rossiter, who was a retired escrow officer; John Mathena, the Manager of Ticor Title and Chicago Title; and Charlene Van Dresar, former foreclosure officer at a local title company. Together with this experienced team Foreclosure Specialists became the go-to business for non-judicial foreclosures in the North State.

Many people helped along the way, especially during the housing market crash of 2008 and 2009, but without the core team they wouldn’t have been able to keep up with the increasing demand. Throughout the years people have come and gone, but Janelle has continued to be the lead Foreclosure Officer for almost 20 years.

In 2013, Janelle was fortunate enough to bring in her daughter, and new business partner, Sheena Hunter. Sheena is a Veteran who worked in banking before joining her mother at Foreclosure Specialists. Now in 2021, Janelle and Sheena are the core team of Foreclosure Specialists.

Foreclosure Specialists sees both sides of a foreclosure situation, as many of our clients are private lending parties and we communicate directly with the borrowers. Foreclosure Specialists prides themselves in the fact that they are respectful and understanding of of all parties involved.
